Internet is the hot noun, known to us. What does it mean ? what does it take to make it, how we can contribute towards it's evolution ? did we achieve everything we could have ? are there still many areas to explore ?
Ever we noticed that being a software giant, (google/sun/oracle/adobe..... microsoft) what the world's leading software powers are doing ? There is one common cause behind the objective of all these world leaders. They simply contribute towards Internet. If we listen to Mr. Vick G. (Vice President Engineering, Google) @ http://wave.google.com, he talks about the same.
Why we see too many forums discussing various issues of almost every aspect of life ? We feel e-commerce taking shape like a shopping mall, which can serve our every need. We can get Roti, Kapda, Makaan ...... almost everything on the internet, it is a never ending list. We simply contribute towards Internet. We need it, we use it, we design it, we develop it, we enhance it and the cycle goes on.
Ancient age gurus said "Gyan baatne se badta hai" (knowledge increases by sharing). This old law(like gold law) is the deriving force for every evolution/research/development. Information Sharing - some places it might be private (with in one premises), or protected (for the use of particular category of audience), but most often we find it public. When we share the information (i would say it information rather than knowledge) then people listen it understand it their own way and response is unpredictable. But after all this process we gain a lot and that is when we say we have knowldege. The fact behind the separation of information and knowledge is bit clumsy. When we have some information (bother me for some more time, calling it information) we take it as knowledge, because that might be written or said by one great personality. But what is written or said, do we really understand it the same way it is written ? I remember one game we used to play in management sessions, In one line 10-15 of us whisper one sentence to the person next to us (just like passing the pillow game) but when that "sentence" reaches at the end it looks something like "sete$n$#e". Practice it once, you might get used to it, share the information what you know, what you are best in, let others give their opinion and you will find the blog of knowledge.
We all feel great when we share the information, we help someone without cause, this is the gift given by God to human beings. This is the reason we survive the maximum.
